Golf at De Vere

De Vere Hotels, Resorts and Venues has golf at 11 of its properties with 17 golf courses, spreading from the Cheshire countryside, over the Norfolk plains and as far North as the Scottish highlands.

De Vere’s relationship with the game became synonymous when the Ryder Cup held at one of their infamous resorts was won by the European team in 1985 ending a 28 year reign by the US team. The De Vere group has continued to host events on its courses with the Ladies Scottish Open in 2008 on the Championship Carrick course at Cameron House. Slaley Hall welcomed the PGA Seniors in both 2008 and 2009, and in September 2009 The Carrick hosts the PGA Cup.

The investment into the game by De Vere has also extended to the creation of The Nike Golf Academy at Oulton Hall & Spa.
