Golf at De Vere
From Golf Courses to Golf Breaks
De Vere Hotels, Resorts and Venues offer glorious golf at 11 properties with 16 incredible golf courses to challenge your skills.
From The Carrick on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond to the beautiful Cheshire countryside at Wychwood Park, there’s a fabulous choice of parkland and links and woodland golf courses for you to explore to complement your stay at our luxury hotels.
Of course De Vere and golf have a history together. The De Vere name became synonymous with the game after hosting the 1985 Ryder Cup - the year Tony Jacklin’s European team ended the USA’s 28 year winning streak.
Since then, the De Vere Group has continued to host events on many of our golf courses including including the 2011 PGA Seniors at Slaley Hall and the 2008 Ladies Scottish Open on the championship Carrick golf course at Cameron House. Slaley Hall also welcomed the PGA Seniors in both 2008 and 2009, while in September 2009 The Carrick hosted the PGA Cup.
Our investment into the game has even extended to the creation of The Nike Golf Academy at Oulton Hall & Spa.
