The Mark of The Great Bear.

Set within 1,000 acres of beautiful Cheshire countryside and overlooking the Welsh hills. Boasting two magnificently manicured courses - The Nicklaus and The Cheshire, the former is one of only seven British courses in which the 'Great Bear' himself has been personally involved.

A heathland course, The Cheshire has split fairways, well placed hazards and spectacular views. The Nicklaus is very much the thinking man's course providing a scenic backdrop. This parkland course requires you to dig deep for every shot you have in the bag.

For the cautious

On the 7th, play the conservative line down the right hand fairway leaving a longer second shot to the green. Only the brave or foolish would favour the left fairway.

For the fearless

With the whole hotel watching, go for that show-stopping carry over the lake at the 17th. Remember to take a bow to your fans as you head on to the 18th.
