Mottram Hall, Cheshire
The Most Scenic Golf In Cheshire.
Set in 270 acres of stunning Cheshire parkland, this 18th century country house is the picture-perfect backdrop for your golfing exploits. The Championship course is a game of two-halves. The front nine is set on lush flat meadowland, whereas the back nine weaves its way through undulating woodland. Designed by former PGA captain Dave Thomas, the course is challenging with well-protected greens sporting some of the most scenic golf that Cheshire has to offer.
Take it all in with post-match refreshment in the bar or dine in Nathaniel's restaurant.
For the cautious
Resist all temptation to go for glory on the 3rd. The wide and shallow green is guarded closley by fiendishly placed bunkers, a water hazard and encroaching trees. Aim safely for the centre of the green to live to fight another day.
For the fearless
Take the 'Tiger' line over the water on the par four 15th. Fortune favours the brave golfer who can muster a 235 yard blast. Rewarding them with a straight forward pitch and tap for a birdie.
