Tucked away in the Wiltshire countryside, Swindon is a small market town that blends the old and the new. A short break at a hotel in Swindon is the best way of experiencing all the city has to offer. Its location makes it the perfect stop off for those visiting the west county but is still easily reached from larger towns such as London and Oxford. There are many tourist attractions in Swindon and the surrounding area - so there's sure to be something to entertain visitors. Furthermore, businesses and companies in search of a destination for conferences or training rooms are well served by Swindon.

Swindon rose to prominence in the 19th century during the golden age of the steam train and with the arrival of the Great Western Railway. Much of this heritage remains and the town's steam museum makes for a great day out. The older part of Swindon, known as the Old Town, is also worth a visit from a hotel in Swindon, where many traditional pubs and shops mix with modern stylish outlets. The new town centre also offers a pleasant shopping experience as it is fully pedestrianised.

Further afield, the Cotswold Water Park is a popular tourist attraction with over 140 lakes set in over 40 acres of open space offers a variety of activities including fishing, water sports or just as a lovely spot for relaxing. A Swindon hotel is also a great base from which to visit Longleat House and Safari Park, which is a truly unique experience.

This Wiltshire town has long been an important destination for business as its location is approximately half way between London and Bristol and you will find many meeting rooms and conference venues in Swindon. The venue can accommodate up to 300 attendees in the syndicate and meeting rooms, all of which come stocked with audio visual technology and Wi-Fi access throughout.
