The approach up the tree-lined drive, flanked by some 32 acres of the National Trust’s beautiful wooded countryside, sets the perfect mood for a very special experience. Branksome Place is a gorgeous Edwardian manor house offering a truly idyllic setting for your special day. We can even pull out all the stops and arrange for a red carpet arrival.
But this elegant Grade II listed building offers much more than breathtaking beauty and historic grandeur. Here, it’s the little details that make all the difference and our experienced team will help plan everything to perfection. Whether it’s your reception, your ceremony or both, we’ll make sure your day is as individual, exciting and memorable as you have always imagined.
- To compliment the reception facilities, Branksome has 60 tastefully decorated bedrooms, which are available to wedding guests at reduced rates. We also have a charming bridal suite, in the Stone Cottage, overlooking the gardens.
- With only one wedding taking place per day at Branksome, making a perfect setting for your wedding and providing some ideal photographic opportunities.
- If you would like help choosing your menu we can arrange an informal meeting with one of our Chefs if you have any of your own suggestions our Chef will be only too happy to incorporate your ideas and tailor costings accordingly.

- You can have fireworks for your celebrations up to 21.30hrs in our grounds.

Four unique spaces, one unique location
Both civil ceremonies and the wedding breakfast for up to 100 people can be held in the Lounge, located at the front of the main house. The Lounge is a charming room with dual aspect lead windows giving this room a very light and airy ambiance and the tiled feature fireplace provides an ideal backdrop for photographs.
The south facing Restaurant seats up to 110 guests for the wedding breakfast. It offers stunning views of the back lawn and has its own terrace and seating perfect for a summers evening. The room also has a hard floor area for dancing and entertainment.
Located in the left wing of the main house designed by James Stirling in the seventies, The Stirling Suite offers a very contemporary and retro feel, with wood paneled curved walls which can be opened up to offer a view of the wing.
The beautifully appointed Marquee which seats up to 150 located on the back lawn allows guests to wander straight out into the grounds with their glasses of bubbly. It has two clear sided walls, which enables guests to appreciate the beautiful surroundings. The marquee offers its own private bar and dance floor for up to 250 guests allowing your wedding party to drink and dance the night away.
