Along with the state-of-the-art golf Academy, Oulton Hall offers a range of other facilities, including buggy hire for navigating across the beautiful course grounds, a practice range for perfecting your putting, and the Claret Jug course  restaurant for re-energising after a long day. 

• Golf Academy - Our Academy, staffed by four PGA teaching professionals, offers fantastic practice and coaching facilities for novices and experienced players alike.
• Buggy Hire - GPS Buggies are available for hire (weather permitting)
• Practice Range - The driving range has 18 covered and floodlit bays to practice rain or shine, day or night. There are also chipping and putting facilities.
• 19th Hole - The Claret Jug is the venue to relive your triumphs on the course. It serves simple modern food with an emphasis on the freshest local produce to refuel and treat you after your round.

Golf Course Etiquette
The rules and etiquette of golf must be observed at all times. No denim, jeans or tracksuits are allowed. Trousers or tailored shorts must be worn and all shirts must have a collar. Golf shoes must be worn on the course, however trainers are permitted in special circumstances. Spike shoes may not be worn in any part of the hotel with the exception of the Golf Shop and Driving Range.

The Academy

The Academy opened in 2008 and its designed to provide the North's best golf teaching facilities for elite golfers and high handicappers alike. It is staffed by a team of PGA professionals and highly trained technical experts to make the most of all the equipment on offer. Half day and full day coaching packages are available.
