Located in the south east of England, Berkshire is one of the oldest counties in Great Britain. Also known as the "Royal County of Berkshire," it is home to one of the oldest and largest Royal Residences in the world, Windsor Castle. With a long history of sheep farming, Berkshire continues to host one of the largest sheep fairs in England.

Berkshire is also home to many picturesque towns and villages with the Thames River running along the county’s northeast border.
