Showtime FAQs

Following the sale of 9 open hotels from The Principal Hotel Company to FDM Management; InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) are operating the hotels as part of its luxury and upscale portfolio. Our FAQs below should hopefully answer any questions you might have about the changes to your Showtime membership. But if there's anything you're still not sure about anything you can get in touch here.

 

How do I access my Showtime account?

To access your Showtime account please visit devere.com/showtime

 

Which properties are leaving Showtime Rewards and when?

The below properties will no longer be participating Showtime Rewards properties as of 19th March 2019:

De Vere Oxford Thames
De Vere Oxford Spires Hotel

The below property will no longer be participating Showtime Rewards properties as of 12th December 2018:

The Principal Grand Central Hotel

The below properties will no longer be participating Showtime Rewards properties as of 24 October 2018:

Principal London
The Principal Edinburgh Charlotte Square
The Principal Edinburgh George Street
Principal York
The Principal Manchester
The Principal Blythswood Square
The Principal St David’s
De Vere Wotton House

As of 11th October 2018, Hotel Met Leeds will no longer be a participating Showtime property. Any enquiries or contracted bookings made on or after this date will not qualify towards your Showtime Rewards benefits.

Any new bookings, at the above mentioned properties, made on or after the above dates will not qualify towards your Showtime Rewards benefits.

What will happen to my existing Showtime Rewards account and points?

Nothing, your Showtime Rewards account and current points balance will remain as it is. You can continue to earn Showtime rewards at participating De Vere properties and can continue to redeem your points through your Showtime Rewards account.

 

Will I earn reward points for future bookings that were contracted prior to the property leaving Showtime Rewards?

Yes, Showtime Rewards points will be honoured on qualifying future bookings at the abovementioned properties that were contracted prior to their Showtime Rewards leaving date including those that operate after their leaving date.

Booker must be registered for Showtime Rewards by prior to the property leaving date in order to earn points on any future bookings. Registered Showtime email address must match the email address on the enquiry/booking to qualify.

 

Will I earn Showtime Rewards on new enquiries or bookings that are made on or after the property Showtime Rewards leaving date?

Any new enquiries or bookings made at the abovementioned properties on and after the property Showtime Rewards leaving date will not qualify for cinema tickets or Showtime Rewards points.

 

Will I earn Showtime Rewards points for enquiries that were made prior to the property Showtime Rewards leaving date but not contracted until on or after the property Showtime Rewards leaving date?

Enquiries that were made prior to the property Showtime Rewards leaving date, but not contracted until on or after the properties Showtime Rewards leaving date will not qualify for Showtime Rewards points. Cinema tickets will still qualify for these bookings as long as their enquiry date is prior to the property Showtime Rewards leaving date.

Booker must be registered for Showtime Rewards by the property Showtime Rewards leaving date in order to earn points on any future bookings. Registered Showtime email address must match the email address on the enquiry/booking to qualify.

 

How can I contact Showtime Rewards?

Any Showtime customer service queries must be made to the Showtime help desk within one month of the event operating. We will be unable to investigate any queries which fall outside this time frame.

The helpdesk can be contacted via email at showtime@dvcompany.com. The helpdesk hours are Monday to Friday 9am – 5:30pm (UK) excluding Bank Holidays.
