De Vere Cranage Estate, located in Cheshire and part of De Vere’s portfolio of country estate hotels, has unveiled the results of a £200k refurbishment of its meetings and events spaces, bringing them in line with the company’s innovative Smart Space meetings concept. The investment in De Vere Cranage Estate is part of De Vere’s wider £50m refurbishment of its collection of country estate hotels and modern event spaces.

Smart Space comprises nine service features designed to offer a highly responsive, personalised meetings and events service.

The largest of the meeting rooms, The Stephenson Suite, which can accommodate up to 475 people, has had a top-to-toe refurbishment to create a light, modern and flexible space for event organisers to adapt to suit their needs. The suite is now equipped with ceiling projectors, four built-in screens and a full PA system.

The Appleton Suite, in the original Mansion House has also undergone refurbishment to maintain its traditional charm and bring in 21stcentury functionality. With doors that open straight onto the attractive grounds, the room offers a unique space for meetings where delegates can explore the gardens during breakouts. Free, superfast outdoor Wi-Fi can be used up to 100m from the building, with a maximum bandwidth of 100Mb available.

De Vere Cranage Estate also offers Showtime Rewards, a loyalty scheme to say thank you for corporate event business. With no minimum spend, and automatic benefits such as free cinema tickets, delegates will be able to enjoy benefits from their first event.

De Vere Cranage Estate is located near Holmes Chapel, in a rural corner of Cheshire, with strong connections to the M6, and Manchester city centre via rail. The grade II listed building provides a picturesque backdrop to all kinds of events with its red brick, warm yellow sandstone, and green lawns. It also is the go-to wedding venue in South Manchester.
