It was fantastic to once again work with you, I really do appreciate the flexibility and support in the weeks running up to the event – with this many people in attendance, the changes are unavoidable unfortunately, and your understanding of that is very much appreciated by me and our guests! I work with a lot of venues and trusting the venue team to handle our event (especially for this type of an event) is an extremely important part of the job, and I am so pleased to say that you have been more than outstanding on that – there’s a reason why we came back this year 😊
As for the actual event onsite, amazing effort by all staff, they were easy to find (sometimes very much not a thing in venues) and responded to any issues/requests very quickly and efficiently. I love that the unused wine during the drinks reception was handed out to the tables to enjoy during the dinner, and it truly felt like we were looked after!

Thank you so much – we had a brilliant event.
The whole evening was a huge success and your staff were amazing. Special thanks for Abdul (I think that was his name) who was the Dining Manager, he was brilliant and so accommodating with our last minute timing changes and also to the bar manager, he was equally brilliant. Everyone had a fantastic time and we would love to host another event with you ASAP.

The event went really well. Katy and Abdul were amazing. They were so efficient, reliable and flexible. Also, a thank you to the head chef who put together a vegetarian meal with no onion or garlic at the last minute due to an error from my side.
Thank you for all your help too with the pre-event logistics.
We raised £24k for our charity and it is going towards building a school in Africa.

The event ran smoothly, and I want to express special gratitude to Sienna for her unwavering dedication to ensuring its success. The evening went superbly well, due in no small part to the excellent staffing of the event. Many commented that the level of service was some of the best we have had. Particularly the waiting staff, but also the bar staff, were just so welcoming, engaging and professional.
Thank you and your team for helping is with this event, which is quite an important one for us. We reunite to remember our fabulous history as – at the time - the leading investigation service in the UK. Increasing age is the only enemy we are now fighting, rather than years ago, younger and fitter, the fight against industrial scale drug smuggling, commercial fraud, weapons of mass destruction and more!
And the Connaught Rooms has interwoven with that history over the decades, and is important to us.
So thank you again. Already everyone is saying last night cannot be the last event and Jim and I did have a very helpful discussion with you about minimum numbers should we be in a position to go again.
I hope the letter from the King proves helpful in some way. It was nice that he name-checked the venue, which I don’t think has happened before. I actually have a copy of the covering letter sent by the Head of Royal Correspondence, but I think the King’s letter stands alone.
So many thanks indeed for all your help. And, who knows, we may start early planning for the next one!
