A distinctive hotel in Windsor

The story of De Vere Beaumont Estate in Old Windsor is a very British one; a tale of democracy, royalty, education and religion.  At its heart, sits an 18th-century mansion, a chapel, 45 event spaces and a Georgian white house in 42 acres of parkland grounds.

The original house was built for Lord Weymouth but it was its time as a public school, from 1854 - 1967, that saw most of the estate’s architectural developments.

Following a multi-million-pound refurbishment, today you’ll find a wealth of these original features still intact along with a 21st-century style that ensures business, weddings and training are anything but usual. Outside, you’ll find 42 acres of grounds complete with natural ponds and specially commisioned sculptures create a relaxing space for guests to explore.

De Vere Beaumont Estate is just 3 miles from Windsor itself, minutes from J13 of the M25 and 15 minutes from Heathrow; Egham station is also 3 miles away with fast connections to London Waterloo and Reading. Windsor Castle, Windsor Great Park, LEGOLAND®, and Windsor Racecourse are also on the doorstep.

Free, superfast Wi-Fi with a maximum bandwidth of 1Gb is available throughout the hotel and up to 100m within the grounds.

What an incredible anniversary stay we had at the De Vere Beaumont this weekend! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel spoilt and special. Particular shout outs to the lovely Amy at the 1705 restaurant and the effervescent Kingsley at Reception. You made our stay really magical.

Stayed in a lovely family room with my two little ones. The room was nice and spacious and perfectly clean, huge props to the housekeeping team! The reception team were exceptional throughout our stay, providing great advice about the local area answering all of our questions about the properties rich history. After leaving we realised one of our little ones left their favourite stuffed toy. Thankfully, after contacting the front of house team, they not only worked quickly to locate our lost property but got it sent back to us quicker than expected. They even went the extra mile to take pictures with the little bear on their very own adventures around the property, what a lovely touch that was! Would highly recommend to families and will be swiftly returning soon!

We have just had a fabulous two nights stay at the Beaumont Estate while we were visiting Windsor Castle. Our room was situated in the White House, in particular I loved our bathroom! absolutely stunning. All the staff we met were very friendly and attentive at all times. Although we didn’t eat in the hotel we enjoyed breakfast each morning. There was plenty of choice, loved the pastries & crumpets!!

We stayed for the night with family and booked two rooms. When we arrived at the hotel I was blown away by the grounds, they are beautiful kept. We entered the reception area to be greeted by the wonderful front desk team who were really informative about where we needed to go to reach our rooms. My daughter who is 6 was given a wonderful activity bag which kept her occupied when we had dinner later on. Our rooms although simple we’re beautifully clean and spacious. We then ventured down for a quick swim, the pool was lovely again simple but everything you needed. Lots of space to splash around and have fun. The changing rooms equipped with hair dryers lockers which didn’t need money and fantastic showers which were all lovely and clean. The restaurant area was very relaxed with very friendly staff who had a great knowledge about the food and wine menu. I had breads and olives then a cobb salad. The childrens menu wasn’t all beige food which was also delicious. The food and wines all being reasonably priced when considering the area. We had a great nights sleep on comfortable beds. The next morning I used to gym which was well equipped with weights and cardio machines. The breakfast buffet had a great selection and all tasty. The restaurant where the breakfast was served was slightly tired but had been decorated with fairy lights and decorations to give it a little facelift. On the whole I would highly recommend Beaumont estate if visiting the area as a family or a couples trip away. You won’t be disappointed.
