Love in full bloom: capturing the essence of a summer wedding

Lauren and Aled booked De Vere Tortworth Court back in September 2022 and their meticulous planning meant that every detail was considered on their special day. The Orangery was adorned with wisteria trees, setting a summery, romantic backdrop for their ‘I dos’, whilst smooth, live jazz entertained guests during the pre-ceremony cocktail hour. Family and friends left memorable messages to the couple using a vintage telephone booth guestbook, and guests were surprised with a sky full of colour as a fireworks display kicked off the evening celebrations.

“Alex, we can’t thank you enough for all that you’ve done for us from the very start until the very end. You have been incredible and I’m so thankful for all of the support, advice and communication you’ve given us throughout the planning process. You made us feel at ease which in turn really let us enjoy the planning process and the build up to the day as we knew that you knew our vision inside and out.

The day went PERFECTLY, absolutely seamlessly and that was down to the whole team who were all absolutely incredible.

We want to give a special mention to two individuals in particular, Dave our wonderful toastmaster and Elvis who made our wedding day so incredibly special and memorable.”

Dave was absolutely amazing and made us feel so at ease and calm all day. Dave was always available, ensuring everyone had everything they could possibly need - even going the extra mile to speak to my grandparents, telling them that if they needed a break from the sun or noise that he would chaperone them in to somewhere quieter and cooler. Dave made Aled and I feel so content and comfortable all day and ensured we always knew what was happening, what others were doing and what we needed to do. This really let us let our hair down and enjoy the day. Dave is simply the BEST and our day would not have been the same without him.”

“Elvis - where do I begin. An absolute perfectionist and meticulous who could not do enough for us. As soon as we met Elvis (via zoom) we knew we were in the best hands. This was only reassured when we met him in person the day before our wedding day. No words could ever describe how amazingly incredible Elvis is and how grateful we are that he controlled our day.  

Everyone at our wedding commented on Dave and Elvis which shows just how much of an impact they had, not only on our day, but on our guests. Because of you, Elvis and Dave we had the perfect day, more than we could have ever imagined, and I am so grateful to you all.”
