The Hub launches at De Vere Wokefield Estate and De Vere Horsley Estate
De Vere, a collection of historic mansion house estates and distinctive contemporary hotels and event destinations, has launched The Hub, a newly refurbished Smart Space area at De Vere Horsley Estate in Surrey and De Vere Wokefield Estate near Reading.
The Hub is a newly refurbished Smart Space area, located within both properties, which offers a suite of meeting rooms featuring superfast WiFi up to 500MB, a dedicated lounge, a coffee and refreshments station and state-of-the-art IT audio-visual facilities. Both spaces can be booked individually, in groups, or all together to offer exclusive use. The spaces also can be dressed with temporary signage and bespoke audio-visual options to perfectly compliment your brand and event.

At De Vere Horsley Estate, planners can choose from nine meeting spaces at The Hub in Horsley Place, hosting between six to 100 people. Delegates can take advantage of The Hub’s courtyard which can be used as an open-air breakout space or a place to work from and can also be booked exclusively for outdoor lunches, barbecues, and team-building events. The Hub can also be used in conjunction with The Horsley Suite, a 200-capacity space, which also offers direct access to the courtyard. Teambuilding events can extend further into the 75 acres at De Vere Horsley Estate which has large open spaces, woodland areas, and a seven-hole frisbee golf course. The Groom’s Room can also be hired which offers a full-size snooker table, table tennis, table football, darts, and arcade basketball.
At De Vere Wokefield Estate, The Hub is located within Wokefield Place and offers seven meeting spaces for six to 70 people. For larger events, the Hub’s spaces can be booked in conjunction with the 500 capacity Wokefield Suite, providing satellite spaces, breakout options and privacy in equal measure.
Delegates will have direct access to The Hub’s private courtyard, suitable for use as an open-air breakout space or a place to work in the sun and it can be booked exclusively for outdoor lunches, barbecues, and team-building events. For event organisers looking to energise and motivate delegates with innovative team building opportunities, De Vere Wokefield Estate also offers the services of Graham Robb Associates with an adrenaline-packed array of activities available on site including woodland laser combat, archery, zorbing, and high ropes to name a few.
