De Vere Cranage Estate, near Holmes Chapel and part of the De Vere portfolio of country estate hotels and modern, market-leading event spaces, has won the Best Venue Customer Service (Under 500) Category at the Conference Awards 2017.

The Awards, judged independently by a high-profile panel of leaders from the Conference Industry, were held at Tobacco Quay in London and recognise the excellence and exceptional quality offered at conference and event companies.

Richard Morrell, General Manager, De Vere Cranage Estate said: “We are delighted to win this award which is testament to the quality and dedication of our team to consistently ensuring guests have a fantastic experience when choosing the De Vere Cranage Estate for their events.”

The Conference Awards Judging Panel 2017 commented: “This is a venue that really seems to have everything right and they seem genuinely passionate about what they do. They live by their customer vision and objectives. There appears to be a lot of innovation and flexibility, which other venues should take note.”

Formerly the country seat of the Armistead family, Grade II listed De Vere Cranage Estate was designed by celebrated British architect Lewis Wyatt. The venue combines 21st-century style with the historic building; creating an eclectic mix of traditional and modern. As well as elegant hotel rooms, bar, restaurant, open-air kitchen  and a leisure club, the venue offers 28 flexible meeting spaces for conferences, meetings and training, with grounds for teambuilding. It is also one of the most premier wedding venues in South Manchester

The property is just minutes from J18 of the M6 motorway, with direct rail links to Manchester city centre and within easy reach of Manchester Airport. Free, superfast Wi-Fi is available throughout and up to 100m in the grounds.
