De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, a Grade II listed venue in Covent Garden, has today unveiled the final phase of its refurbishment, with the completion of works to its grand spaces, which concludes a major investment into the event destination.

Whilst still upholding the property’s exceptional Grade II listed features, De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms has had its public areas and many of its meeting and event spaces refreshed, including the iconic Grand Hall.

The Grand Hall, the venue’s largest event space which can host events of up to 750 guests theatre style, has been redecorated and refurbished with new carpets, whilst the meeting and event rooms in the East Wing have also been refreshed.

The Crown Suite, one of De Vere Grand Connaught Room’s most sought-after spaces, with its spectacular blue dome ceiling, has stunning new wood flooring which has transformed the space, and which complements the show-stopping historic features.

Outside, on the fifth floor, the penthouse and roof terrace, which has views of the city, has had a brand-new deck fitted, perfect for summer parties and receptions adding an alfresco option to events.

Hayley Chilvers, Operations Director at De Vere, commented: We’re delighted with the results of our refurbishment, which has breathed new life in to our spaces whilst protecting the venue’s many historical features. We’re very much looking forward to welcoming guests, both old and new, to discover the excellent work which has taken place here at De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms.”
