De Vere, a collection of historic mansion house estates and event destinations with market-leading conference facilities, has today launched its new website featuring a sophisticated new booking engine and improved functionality, complemented with AI technology.

Based on user feedback and customer research, the website streamlines the entire customer booking journey, whilst providing the content and imagery that guests look for, all in an easily digestible format. The new proprietary booking engine, developed by De Vere, seamlessly integrates with the hotel management systems and includes a new search function, the ability to amend bookings on the go and small groups can now request interconnecting rooms or even rooms located close together; guests will also be able to add pets to their room booking.

In addition, the new website features a new payment gateway, enabling customers to use Google Pay and Apple Pay, making it quicker and more convenient to complete bookings.

Partnering with SABA Hospitality, an automated communication platform that uses AI technology, customers using the website will have 24-hour access to the De Vere Chatbot which provides an encyclopaedia of knowledge about the Group’s hotels, services, facilities and local attractions. Using ChatGPT4, the new integrated service means that users can make an enquiry without having to search for the relevant information or contact the hotel directly.

Chatbot, called Lady Grey after De Vere Tortworth Court’s resident cat, acts as a virtual concierge and can create a personalised travel itinerary based on location and customer preferences. Partnering with WAY, the new website also allows integration with local attractions and special events, meaning guests can book bespoke packages online.

We’ve used all that data to inform the design and features of the new website. We now have a platform that delivers a seamless experience from start to finish, it’s easier to navigate and the use of AI integrated into the De Vere chatbot enables our guests to start making the most out of their stay before they’ve even arrived.”
