De Vere Tortworth Court, part of De Vere’s collection of country estate hotels, has raised over £4,900 for British Ukrainian Aid, Children’s Hospice South West and industry charity, Hospitality Action during the last 12 months.

The hotel team took part in a number of activities to raise the funds. This included a ‘Jail & Bail’ event which raised over £1,800 for Children’s Hospice South West, which provides palliative, respite, end of life and bereavement care for life-limited and terminally ill children and their families from the South West England region. A cycling event where team members rode from De Vere Tortworth Court to one of its sister properties, De Vere Cotswold Water Park, raised over £500 for Hospitality Action. The hotel also raised £1,200 for Hospitality Action through raffle ticket sales at their annual end of year raffles.

Raphael Herzog, General Manager at De Vere Tortworth Court, commented: “We were very pleased to make these donations to three fantastic charities - British Ukrainian Aid, Children’s Hospice South West, and Hospitality Action. Our wonderful team are always looking for ways to support our local communities and charities close to their hearts, and I would like to say a huge thank you to them, and to all of our guests and supporters who helped us to raise the money. We’ll be embarking on various charitable initiatives in the coming months and I’m looking forward to supporting more charities as a result.”
