On Friday 3rd November my now wife and I got married in the Cavendish Suite at De Vere Latimer Estate. It was, without a doubt, the best day of our lives, and from the moment we booked with them the Latimer wedding team were wonderful. Our wedding coordinator was Jessica and her responsiveness, professionalism and joyful personality absolutely made planning our wedding a dream - she answered all questions and bent over backwards to make things so easy and fun for us. Thank you Jess for absolutely everything! I cannot recommend this venue more highly to any newly engaged couples thinking of booking their wedding at Latimer. The venue is stunning and the staff are amazing - it really was the most perfect day and we can’t thank them enough!

A huge huge huge thank you to Jess and Lloyd. Where do we start?! Jess was phenomenal in her knowledge and expertise of wedding coordinating. We asked a lot of questions but nothing was ever too much trouble for her. We built a fantastic rapport with her and just wanted to take time to say thank you. Lloyd was the main man leading our big day and he ensured the day ran so smoothly. He even came up to us after our church ceremony with a glass of champagne.. it’s all the little touches that just made our day. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning and the food was incredible (and we love our food)! Anyone thinking of having your big day here, do not hesitate! We look back and the only sad thing is that we can’t just relive it all over again!!! Thanks so much guys, it’s a day we will cherish forever and will never forget.

My (now) wife and I got married here in August 2023. The staff were nothing short of superb — Jess was phenomenal during the planning and was always on hand to answer any queries we had. Petkov was incredible during the day, helping things run as smoothly as possible, and the chef… just wow. When people come up to you days after and talk about how unexpectedly good the food was, when they were already expecting quality from foodies like us, it is testament to the chef’s abilities. He was also incredibly accommodating when a guest was waylaid, changing plans last-minute to ensure everyone was happy and fed. The grounds were utterly spectacular — not even the rain could put a dampener on the day, and there is plenty to see indoors too, from placards on the local history (very interesting for history buffs) to a mini library with a bar (great for fellow bibliophiles). As for the rooms themselves? Absolutely top-tier — especially in the mansion house. The beds were fantastic, the amenities were on point and we simply cannot recommend De Vere Latimer estate enough. 10/10, would strongly recommend.

We had our wedding here at the De Vere and just one word can be used to describe the whole thing from start to finish. That word is AMAZING! The venue itself is absolutely stunning, the grounds, décor and rooms are beautiful. All the staff at the De Vere are just fabulous, they couldn’t do enough for us, our family and friends. The food is delicious and award worthy and that was one of the things all our guests commented on the most was the food! The events team, Jess, Lloyd and everyone else were just a dream. From day one where we pulled up to this beautiful manor house and met Jess for the first time to checkout the day after the wedding, they were just amazing. Any question we had was answered, they went over and above to give us the fairy-tale wedding we envisioned and it really was like something out of a dream. Thank you all so much for the most wonderful weekend that we will cherish forever. We will be back to stay so we can relive just a little bit of our day by being there. If you are looking for a venue to host a wedding or any other big event then look no further, your dreams come true at the De Vere! If you are looking for a beautiful location to have some time away in the gorgeous Bucks hills then again, this is the place for you. Thank you De Vere Latimer!

Where do I even start! We had our wedding De Vere Latimer Estate a week or so ago! We had the most amazing day as did all our guests and everyone can’t stop talking about it. From the moment we saw the venue we knew it was our wedding venue and a place that would be always be so special for us. The sheer number of rooms available for guests also made it a whole weekend event and everyone got to fully relax and enjoy the big day. Now as for the team where does it end Jess and Abby were fantastic from the very beginning, emails always responded to so quickly every question answered no issues and they make you honestly feel like your wedding is the only one of the season! On the day everything went fabulously and we couldn’t fault any of Jess or Abby’s hard work in our planning. Thank you personally to you both for a magical wedding day! (We will be back very soon for a stay) As for the hotel its self the staff can’t do enough for you and we was made to feel so welcome, all the staff chatting, joking to our guests throughout the weekend and very grateful thank you to Laura, Daisy, Cristian and Josephine who we kept very busy at the bar all weekend! You was amazing and our weekend wouldn’t have been the same without you all! Last but not least a thanks to Jane M who made all our bedroom requirements happen with no issues at all, we shared many calls and laughs along the way and everything was truly perfect! If you are looking for a wedding venue that can spill into a weekend I can’t recommend this place enough. We had our dream day. Chloe and Alfie x

We got married at De Vere Latimer Estate on 14th April and are so incredibly happy that we found this venue. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and set in a beautiful location in the countryside. Our whole wedding planning journey was made so easy by Jessica who was always on hand to answer any questions and help us with anything we were unsure of. During our planning meetings, she was so kind, so helpful and very professional. We met our event coordinator Abby the day before our wedding and she was just as kind and helpful. She ensured our day ran smoothly and perfectly and you can tell just how much they both love to make people’s wedding dreams come true. We would recommend anyone to have their special day here, we just wish we could do ours all over again!

We had the best weekend at De Vere Latimer for our wedding. The venue is a really interesting historical building in the most beautiful setting and everyone commented what a wonderful location we’d picked!

 

The wedding breakfast was delicious and we also had pizzas in the evening which were a huge hit with the guests. The event staff were brilliant - Jessica walked us through the whole process, arranging plenty of planning meetings to organise every detail so we felt completely relaxed for the big day. This included everything from managing our external suppliers, to looking after many other aspects such as stationary and room layouts. And the day itself ran so smoothly - Abby in particular was amazing setting up the event and sorting everything so we didn’t have a single worry during the day. She really does manage the day and her brilliant team so well.

 

The venue was especially perfect for us as it has plenty of rooms for guests to stay over and we had a lot of people travelling from out of town - this made the weekend extra special as everyone was able to stay as late as they wanted and we saw many of our guests for breakfast the following morning.

 

Overall a brilliant day and a brilliant weekend! Would highly recommend for any wedding.
