De Vere has been shortlisted for three awards at the 2023 Hotel Cateys, following a period of significant investment amongst its collection of historic mansion house estates and distinctive contemporary hotels.

De Vere Cranage Estate, in Holmes Chapel, has been shortlisted for Conference and Banqueting Team of the Year whilst Sam Cotton has been nominated for Food and Beverage Manager of the Year, in recognition of the excellent work he’s been doing at De Vere Tortworth Court. Frazer Gander, the group’s Deputy Head of People and Culture, who has worked for De Vere for over 9 years, has been nominated for People Manager of the Year.

Laurie Nicol, De Vere’s Chief Operating Officer commented: “It’s been an exciting year for De Vere, with the launch of De Vere Reserve alongside further investment in our hotels, I am delighted to see De Vere nominated for three Hotel Cateys.

Laurie continued: I’d like to send my congratulations to Sam, Frazer and the team at De Vere Cranage Estate for their excellent work and I wish them all luck for the big night in November.”

Since their launch in 2007, the Hotel Cateys have celebrated the most successful hotels, hoteliers and hotel employees across the UK. The awards recognise and reward those individuals and teams that work tirelessly to make sure their business delivers an exceptional guest experience. The winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony on 13th November in Westminster.
