SanofiFest - using the great outdoors to great effect
De Vere Beaumont Estate was chosen by Ashfield Meetings & Events as the venue for client, Sanofi UK’s annual company day; SanofiFest, which took place in May 2018.
The purpose of the company day was to underline Sanofi’s drive to deliver the best support to their customers and to push themselves to provide services that truly benefit and positively impact people’s lives. It was vital that the event diffused a consistent and compelling story about who Sanofi are as a business and clearly demonstrate that they are one, integrated company with brilliantly diverse capabilities, medicines and offerings.
The event undertook the theme of a festival, with De Vere Beaumont Estate’s stunning grounds transformed with teepees, tents, fairy lights and garlands; a campsite was even set up to provide additional accommodation for the delegates. Stilt walkers, fire eaters and face painters were also on hand to provide an on-theme welcome to the hundreds of delegates taking part in the spectacular event.
During the day, delegates enjoyed talks by industry experts and senior team members; as well as team building activities, making the most of the outside space, including tightrope walking, hula hooping, diabolo and hot coal walking. Whilst in the evening, the festival really came to life, with bands, djs and even a silent disco taking place, whilst delegates tucked into a tasty paella.
A roaring success, the event was recognised in the 2018 C&IT Awards, winning Pharma & Healthcare Event of the Year.
