Thank you so much for an utterly glorious day, The Tortworth team completely struck the balance of being seasoned professionals without making us feel like we were one of many weddings.

 

 The attention to detail and the efficiency was incredible, the atmosphere and aesthetic was even better than we could have hoped for.

 

Whilst me and the team I manage at work have completely different jobs and in a different industry, I am always talking about our team brand, and how we want to be polished and slick in everything we do (they are probably sick of hearing the words polished and slick quite frankly). Polly & Elvis embodied those words and the execution was flawless. If they worked on my team, I would be absolutely proud and impressed by them both. They are an asset to the hotel and to the wedding industry in general.

We can’t think of anything that didn’t go perfectly. It was everything we could have imagined and would just like to reiterate that everyone who was a part of the day went above and beyond what could be expected.

 

We would love to specifically highlight Dave who stayed long after his finish time when he found out we didn’t have a DJ in the evening, for which we are eternally grateful. Dave’s expertise and attitude meant any hiccups throughout the day (my button hole 20 minutes before the ceremony included!) were swiftly resolved. I have received nothing but absolute praise for his work and presence during the day.

 

Danka was absolutely lovely, efficient and helpful; especially in the morning locating our items and then ensuring music, people and props were in the right place at the right time for the rest of the day. A long shift, but we cannot think of anything that didn’t go perfectly to plan.

 

Polly, your planning and guidance was truly invaluable and led to a perfect day for the both of us and our guests, so a massive thank you for everything you have done! The feedback so far has been wonderful for the staff being so helpful, and the stunning venue blowing everyone away.

 

As the first wedding in our friends group Yourself, Danka, Dave and the team at Tortworth court have set a bar that will be nearly impossible to beat.

The main feedback I have is that Las and the team were so helpful and thoughtful, they made sure everything ran smoothly and kept us calm throughout the day which was really appreciated! In particular I loved the way the team set up the decorations, we didn’t provide much to work with but it looked stunning. I can’t thank everyone enough for all the hard work they put into making the day so special.

 

The planning was great and you were so helpful with any questions we had, and you made the process so smooth. We received a lot of comments during the lead-up to the wedding and on the day that we seemed very relaxed, and that was mainly down to you and how easy you made the whole thing!

Chris & I just wanted to say thank you so much to everyone for our wedding on the weekend. We had the most amazing time and are so so grateful for everyone who helped out. 

 

 Firstly we would like to thank the staff around the hotel, from reception to everyone working our wedding. Everyone was so helpful, friendly and also efficient.

 

 We would also like to thank Polly. Polly has supported us from the moment we booked this wedding, answering all of our questions, nothing was too much trouble for her and she helped organise the whole day on the run up, making sure we had covered everything and couldn’t of asked from more from her.

 

 Finally we would like to thank Elvis. He is an absolute asset to Tortworth Court. From the moment we arrived at Tortworth on Saturday he was at our service, despite being at another wedding, still somehow making time for us and to run through plans. He finished late to make sure we could have our meal first before running through the layout of the day and still insisted on doing more! 

 

Elvis checked in on us throughout the morning, giving gentle encouragement and enthusiasm for the day. He set our venue up beautifully, better than we could have ever imagined and his eye for creativity was perfect. 

 

He stayed until late, working a long day to make sure we were happy with everything and if he could do anymore for us.

 

Our wedding would not have been the same without him and we cannot thank Elvis enough for his support and kindness.

Thank you Polly, Elvis & Dave for the best day of our lives! Wow what can we say, from the night before through to the day after the wedding you all gave an incredible service and nothing was too much to ask for.

 

From the moment we arrived, the reception team were welcoming and catered to our guests’ needs. They communicated with us throughout as we had a large party at the hotel the day before, so they suggested the best bars for us to go to, to be able to stay together. The housekeeping and bar staff were also extremely professional and friendly.



The venue itself is absolutely stunning and kept immaculately clean, the grounds are well kept and all of our guests were in awe of the venue and the range of rooms / bars / orangery it had to offer. When we visited the venue in August 2022, we fell in love with it and could imagine our wedding day… safe to say we have left the venue after our wedding day and the experience has surpassed our expectations. We just loved it!



Just after arrival, we were met by Polly and her infectious smile and Elvis who had such a fun and professional aura. We ran through the plan of the day, what needed to be handed over and they took complete control over the planning and set up. We felt completely reassured as everything seemed to be in place and Polly and Elvis’ passion to give us the best day really shone through. The excitement and attention to detail really gave us the buzz in the morning to remain calm and looking forward to the day ahead. The wedding day itself was flawless from start to finish and we just had the best time and will keep the memories with us for the rest of our lives. It felt chilled and full of love and fun. We cannot recommend enough to look at booking a wedding at this stunning venue.



Shout out to Dave, the toastmaster who enhanced the day with his knowledge, passion and organisation. We really enjoyed talking to Dave and were still talking to Dave two days later as we stayed at the hotel to soak it all in. Dave evidently loves what he does and we thought he was great!! Thank you.

The whole experience was everything we could have dreamt of and more, it was truly perfect.

When we met in person and also for the final check ins, Polly was so helpful in running through every detail, this helped us achieve everything we wanted to on the day itself.

She was the most amazing person and all of our guests saw this and commented on her incredible work, she’s such a credit to Tortworth and we’ll forever be indebted to her for her support she gave us during our big day.

 

Elvis was also absolutely incredible, no detail escaped his eye, he made us feel reassured and you could see that he too truly cared and wanted to help to make our day the best it could possibly be. Both he and Danka are so wonderful and we can’t thank them enough for everything they have done for us.

We got married in the Orangery at Tortworth Court last weekend, and it was the most perfect day! Absolutely everything went better than we could have hoped for.



First of all, we have to say an enormous thank you to Polly, who worked with us to plan our wedding. She’s professional and prompt to respond, and helped plan the whole day to perfection.



On the day, Danka helped ensure everything went to plan. She was incredibly helpful, letting us know exactly where to be and when, and when she’d come and find us. After the ceremony, we were given space while she helped set up our confetti shot. Later, she took us back to the Orangery to see it set up before the wedding breakfast - it was exactly as we pictured!



During the wedding breakfast, Elvis was amazing. He was always on hand, topping up our drinks, and bringing over fans when we needed them.



At no point on the day did we have to worry about where to be or how anything would go - we could just relax and let the day happen. We didn’t have to set up anything, and the Orangery is a beautiful venue that needs little decoration to shine.



The food we ate was delicious, and there’s a wide range of gins and cocktails available in the Orangery bar.



The wedding team at Tortworth Court are incredible – all of them are responsive and attentive, ensuring that you have the best day ever.



Overall, we can’t recommend Tortworth Court enough. We’ve stayed here a few times before, and every time we’ve had great food, a lovely room (especially if you stay in a mansion house room), and a warm reception from all of the staff. It was the obvious choice for our wedding.

The Orangery is perfect. Polly, Danka, and Elvis are professionals at what they do, and will ensure your day goes to plan! Thank you, Tortworth Court, for making our special day so perfect!

 

My husband and I had the best wedding weekend at Tortworth Court in the beautiful orangery.

The wedding team Polly, Danka and Elvis made the whole journey from booking the venue up to the weekend a complete breeze and we couldn’t have done it without them.



We arrived on the Friday and the team were ready and waiting. The orangery was open for us to unpack all of our decor and extras and the team were there to go through everything with us- helping us set up the confetti cones and were we wanted our signs etc.

Elvis was amazing in helping myself and bridal party practice walking down the aisle with our chosen music played through a great sound system.



We were able to book into our rooms on the Friday, myself in the Kipling suite and my husband in another suite. The rooms were amazing. Our family and guests that stayed also loved their rooms.



Our Friday evening was spent in the atrium bar greeting our guests that had travelled, eating and having drinks. Again the staff were great and couldn’t do more for us.



On the morning of the wedding Polly, Danka and Elvis visited me to check everything was going smoothly. We had a massive continental breakfast delivered to the bridal suite for myself, bridal party, make up artist and hair stylist.

Danka helped the groomsmen with their buttonholes and assisted them during the morning.

The team retrieved me when it was time for the wedding. The whole ceremony was flawless. Elvis showing he was great as music management!!



Throughout the rest of the day Danka and Elvis ensured everything ran smoothly. Helping me pin my hoop on my dress, ensuring my husband and I always had a drink and attending to our guests if they had any enquiries.

The food throughout the day was amazing and we had 100% positive feedback from our guests. We were able to have a menu tasting 8 weeks prior which was a lovely experience in itself. We don’t know the chefs name or their team but thank you!



The next morning, although he finished at a late hour the day before, Elvis (as well as Danka) was back in the morning and ensured our guests did not have to wait for breakfast, giving us a section of the restaurant just before it got busy. He even arranged for us to have late check out from the bridal suite.



We were able to pick up all of our wedding bits from the orangery which were packed away neatly and all organised. The team also saved us some cake to take home with us as we had asked.



We could not recommend Tortworth enough to anyone thinking of having their wedding there. There were no issues and the team are clearly very professional, experienced and a great laugh!



We hope we are able to attend another wedding there in the future!

Our wedding at Tortworth Court was absolutely perfect and that was down to the amazing team of people that work there! From the beginning, we had the best experience and were able to tailor our day to exactly what we wanted, nothing was too much for them.

 

Our wedding planner, Polly, has been absolutely amazing from start to finish. She very quickly got to know us and how we ticked so we developed a great relationship straight away. She was always on hand to answer our endless questions which she always responded to very quickly. All of the planning meetings with Polly were so slick and seamless and we felt very confident that we were in good hands, they were also fun!!

 

We couldn’t rate Polly higher, she has been outstanding!

 

Danka, the ops team coordinator, and her team were also absolutely fantastic! Danka was able to understand exactly what we wanted our wedding to look like and how we wanted the day to go just from 1 conversation! She was professional and extremely hardworking throughout the day and was always there if we needed her or had any problems. Our wedding day looked exactly how we had imagined and went absolutely perfectly with no hiccups whatsoever and this is absolutely down to Danka and her team! She is a real credit to Tortworth Court.

 

Dave, our toastmaster, was also just brilliant. He was so kind and professional from the very beginning and instantly made us feel at ease. Nothing was too big or small for Dave and he absolutely went above and beyond his role on our wedding day. Not only did he ensure that all of our wedding guests knew exactly what was happening and where they were going at all times, he really looked after us too, making sure we had enough food, carrying my bouquet when I had no hands left (!), helping the groomsmen with their buttonholes, and even providing a sewing kit to sew up my dress when I had a small mishap!! All of our guests commented on how wonderful Dave was and how calm he made everyone feel. It was a really honour to have him as part of our day and we really don’t know what we would have done without him!

 

The whole team at Tortworth Court are just incredible, even down to the people working at reception and the individuals working behind the bars, all of our guests commented on what a beautiful venue we had with such amazing staff. Getting married at Tortworth has always been a dream of ours and that dream not only came true, but was 100x better than we ever could have imagined. Thank you to the whole Tortworth Court team, you are all amazing!!

Our day was perfect! We both said to each other the next morning that we were so glad we chose Tortworth Court as our Wedding Venue.

 

We would like to thank Danka again, and all the team for their hard work on Saturday. Everything was just how we wanted it to be.

 

Everyone has said how lovely the food was for both the wedding breakfast and fish and chip station, with some saying it was the best meal they have had at a wedding.

 

Paul the DJ was fantastic and so were every member of staff we met. Gabrielle on reception was so welcoming and helpful.

We were so grateful to you and them for making the day run so smoothly, as well as helping to sort out any issues (ie – cake not arriving!!). The day was absolutely perfect from start to finish, and we are so so glad to have picked Tortworth Court as our venue. As well as being stunning, the staff were second to none.

Jessica and Patrick were incredible and deserve recognition for their hard work. Jessica was fantastic in helping with everything right up to our wedding day, nothing ever seemed too much trouble. Patrick assisted us throughout the day on our wedding and couldn’t have done more for us.

Our guests commented on how great he was. We had the most perfect wedding day and it was exactly what we wanted plus more. This wouldn’t have been possible without such a beautiful venue to host our wedding at or without the help of the wonderful employees at Tortworth Court. I would like to thank Jessica who was our wedding coordinator in the months prior to our wedding day. We had lovely meetings with her in the lead up and she was always so polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We would also like to thank Patrick and Moises on the day who gave us 120% of their time and effort. We were asked many times during the day if everything was satisfactory. And the service our guests received was second to none. We can’t thank them enough and we did before we left the next morning. We would love to come back for our anniversary next year to celebrate. We had such an incredible day, and could not have done it without you. Never in a million years would we have thought we could get married in such a beautiful and intimate location such as Tortworth Court.

The kindness and generosity of the team and Tortworth Court has been outstanding. Abbie, you helped us with every small detail of the wedding, ensuring we were ready for the big day. The venue was beautiful, and every one of our family and friends thought it was gorgeous.

Terry, the concierge was an immensely lovely person, he was a pleasure to be around and his positive and helpful attitude made us feel at ease on our wedding day. Moises, you are probably one of the nicest people we have ever met. Your kindness was so immense, and you were such a supportive figure for the entire day. We would also like to give a special mention and thanks to the entire hospitality team at the hotel, the chefs, bar staff and wait-staff, who were all so friendly and helpful. The food was incredible and the vegan menu was so important to us, and was all perfect. The day was perfect and it was honestly thanks to you.
