Our incredible wedding day was hosted at DeVere Cotswold water park on Sunday 23rd April 2023.My husband and I cannot thank this stunning venue enough for how our wedding day was ran. From the staff at check in, Becky (our event coordinator), the casual staff who assisted on the day, and Chloe (our operations manager), each and every person we encountered had a smile on their face and were super helpful.

Our wedding day from start to finish was just perfect. There is not a thing we would change, and we are so grateful to everyone involved in this.

We stayed for dinner the day after the wedding, and cannot fault the staff in the restaurant either! The food was also incredible.

Our suite was the perfect setting for my get ready in the morning, and our wind down once the day was over. The views are breath-taking. If we could, we’d do our day all over again. And certainly, choose the same venue.

We just wanted to say a big thank you to you and the rest of the team for your support and help on our wedding day and all the planning meetings beforehand. It was lovely to have you there on the day and see everything come together from our initial meet.  You were on hand from beginning to end in answering questions, sourcing information and liaising with our vendors. We can’t thank you enough for helping our day run smoothly. The venue itself was stunning and with the beautiful weather we were blessed with made it even more magical. All the front of house staff that were on shift on Friday 7^th and Saturday 8^th April were very professional and extremely accommodating.  

Georgia and Chloe for all their and support in the lead up to and on the wedding day, for their outstanding effort and dedication to ensure our wedding ran smoothly. Also, to add, a big thank you to Georgia for bringing us breakfast the morning after -it was appreciated and just what we needed.  

Becky - for being on this journey from the start to finish with us. From our first meeting to the big day, you were on hand every step of the way and you were always very open with our wants. Your personality and friendly nature always shone through. We are so grateful and appreciative of the time and effort you put into helping us plan and execute the day. You went above and beyond for us and our guests prior to and during the weekend which exemplified your professionalism.  

We both wish you great success and blessings in making people’s events perfect and special, just as you did for us.  We look forward to coming back to De Vere for many years to come.

Saturday was a beautiful day and it was lovely to be able to finally celebrate our marriage with all our friends and family! Thank you for all your help in the build-up. The food was delicious and looked amazing. The staff were all so friendly and approachable and happy to do whatever we asked. All of these things really made our day even that much more special! Becky, our wedding day was so magical, beautiful and special. It had this extra buzz about it, I think that is because everyone was together after two years of being apart. It was the first time my grandparents, who are in their early 90’s, had been out since 24th of March 2020. Everyone was so happy! I am so glad we were able to be your first wedding at the De Vere.

Firstly, I would like to talk about Chloe. That woman is remarkable. She single handily ran our entire wedding with her staff members, and she did it with such grace, dignity and kindness plus nothing was too much trouble. Chloe is a very polite, hardworking, calm, and joyful young woman who was so eager to make us happy. She went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure this.  Chloe knows how to read the room and any situation to resolve it. I am not normally a calm person but on my wedding day I was, and I was able to enjoy my wedding day even more so, because I was calm, relaxed and having fun. I was able to hand over all control and organisation over to Chloe because she was just so brilliant at running the entirety of the day. There is a moment, a pause before I go into the ceremony room, my bridesmaids have all gone in and it is a good 20 seconds before I walk in. It is because Chloe is telling me to breathe and enjoy every moment, she is standing opposite the door entrance encouraging me to soak in every moment and then I walk in. I remember all the staff members helping during our day, all standing outside the doors by the ceremony room all looking at me, I remember it was as if I was floating on air. Just shows what a kind-hearted woman she is, I was so scared walking in. Every wedding should have a Chloe, we are so grateful that at ours, we had Chloe.

Becky we would also like to thank you for the wedding gift you kindly gave us in the card, it was such a lovely surprise! A year seems a long way off but it will soon fly by! I am sure we will visit the hotel many times before our 1-year anniversary, it would be nice to come and visit you soon. Becky, although we only had you for our wedding journey for such a short time, you certainly made it such a fun and stress-free time. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication you put into making our wedding day such a special one, all the extra requests I asked for seemed no trouble at all. The amount of emails I used to send just for the smallest detail and it was no bother for you. You truly enjoy making people happy. I was a proper bridezilla towards the end being over prepared and it did not phase you at all. I hope your first wedding was a memorable one and you have a wonderful and magical career ahead of you, you are brilliant at what you do. You do think outside the box. You listen to our joys and worries and really cared about what we wanted for our day. Even taking the time to show us around the De Vere to see where we could have photos to help calm our worries about this, was no trouble during your busy schedule.

Since Polly came on board we felt so at ease and nothing was too much trouble. We appreciate we had some difficult/awkward questions at times as we’d never planned a wedding before let alone during a pandemic but every query professionally. Polly made sure everything was in place ready for the day and always made the effort to see us if we ever popped into the hotel. The team on the day were honestly amazing, they made the day so special and we felt like we were in our own little non Covid wedding bubble. The team allowed us to enjoy our day but made everyone feel safe. Everyone has said how lovely the day was and that De Vere really found the right balance for us. Nothing was too much trouble on the day and I don’t think we had to ask for anything, everything was perfect.  We really can’t thank you all enough for making our day so special in these crazy times.

What an amazing venue. Such a Beautiful place for a Wedding. The food was amazing and the service even better but nothing beats the ambiance of the venue. The weather was perfect for our wedding and we made full use of the outdoor area with friends and family taking pictures of some breath-taking Lake views. If it wasn’t for our wedding, we would have never known this place existed but we are happy that we now do. It is beautiful, the staff are accommodating and efficient and the venue itself is beautiful,the views are simply amazing. We had a wonderful day and can’t recommend De Vere Cotswold Water Park enough to anyone wanting to tie the knot. It was our dream venue and we just fell in love with it. Thank you to the whole team at the hotel – You rock!

Stacey was very good at keeping us up to date with our preparations and was very happy to answer any questions we had. On our wedding day Hugh and Anna were both very attentive and made sure we both were happy and anything they could help with, nothing was too much trouble. Really nice to have the extra touches left for us in the suite -rose petals on bed, champagne from staff, wedding card. Also when we arrived home from honeymoon to receive a card, personalised bar of chocolate and 1 year anniversary stay at the hotel. We both had a very enjoyable day, weather was lovely and the hotel with the lake made it special to us.

We’d like to say the biggest of thank yous to the whole team at the De Vere, our wedding day was perfect, it was everything we wanted it to be and there was no stress at all. We would especially like to thank and share our gratitude to Jarrod (I’ll feel terrible if that’s not how you spell his name), we honestly cannot thank him enough, he was amazing, nothing was too much trouble and he made us feel so at ease and calm. It was honestly like he was just another member of our extended family, and we loved having him there running things for us. If I had to give him a star rating out of 5 it would be 20. I’m sure how much more praise I can give him, and all the rest of the team on the day. They were all just amazing.

We truly had the best day of our lives. The lead up from the minute we arrived was fantastic, we were met by Polly and Jarrod who took everything ut of our hands. We had every faith in them. It was so lovely walking into our rooms with a bottle of fizz and a card from Polly, she literally thinks of every detail. Jarrod touched base with us few times the night before to check we were happy with everything and he had a few ideas to make things look even more incredible. On the big day Polly had arranged for when everyone could have breakfast to ensure all guests were happy and both the brides did not see each other before the ceremony. I can’t put into words how at ease both Jarrod and Polly made us both feel. The wedding room looked phenomenal, they both made it feel our own and everything went like clockwork; no waiting around, no one stressed and they even managed to get all the wedding party outside when the sun came out. Jarrod and Polly were so attentive and checked in on us at vital parts of the day to ensure we were happy and if we needed a drink…so Thoughtful!!! The next morning we were just blown away, wedding cake, champagne and voucher in our room, this was just so unexpected! We truly never knew wedding planning could be this easy but truth is we had Polly and Jarrod and they made it happen.

A huge thank you to everyone at De Vere Cotswold Water Park for helping us have our dream wedding at the most beautiful location.

From the day I got in contact with Polly to arrange a visit to the venue, until the morning after our wedding, Polly, her team and all staff at De Vere were incredibly helpful and accommodating to all of my family and friends. All queries were responded to in good time, staff at the hotel were extremely helpful on the day, especially when it came to moving belongings between rooms for so many of us, and the events coordinator was also super helpful and so kind, helping to make sure everything ran smoothly on the day. We required a number of rooms for different ceremonies and other things on the day and all of this was arranged without any issues. A huge thank you for allowing us to use the golf buggy to get around for our photoshoot and to Polly for being so helpful on the shoot. We are awaiting the professional pictures and cannot wait to see them!

We had the best day and made so many special memories, thanks to you all.

From the moment we met you in June, we knew we were in good hands! It was if you had taken a huge weight off of our shoulders and taken it onto your own.

we could not fault the venue. The suppliers were looked after especially our flower lady when one of her oasis’s broke last minute! The food was hot and served in a timely manner, everyone was talking about how excellent the food was. The waiting staff were attentive and Chloe checked in at regular intervals to ensure everything was ok and moving things along when needed. Even the cleaning staff were so lovely as we left Ella’s room to go to the ceremony, wishing her luck and complimenting her.

Everything was moved from Ella’s room to the bridal suite as agreed & everything safely put into the Dipper room ready for the next day. The receptionists could not have been more helpful, nothing too much trouble and any requests just dealt with, which considering how busy the hotel was, was quite exceptional. The icing on the cake was when Ella messaged us the next morning with a picture of your card and the Mr & Mrs Hunt chocolate with a free night’s stay on their anniversary, what a fabulous gesture! Breakfast was also fantastic, we had a great area together & although a little earlier than we had hoped, it did work out well in the end! I would not hesitate to recommend you and the hotel to anyone wishing to book a wedding, what started out as a horrendous journey for our daughter, ended up the best thing that could have happened, it was obviously meant to be!!!!

Once again many thanks for all of your help, it is very much appreciated.

Firstly I cannot express how great you are at your job from the moment you first emailed me to me walking down the aisle you have been so helpful and have gone out of your way to make sure everything would be perfect and it was !!!

You definitely helped with the nerves as well, which I think from knowing you had everything in control helped me to stay so relaxed the morning of the wedding.

The rest of team at De Vere went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly we really appreciated it even the little touches with them coming to the table to check we was ok including the temperature.

All the guests were saying to us how great the food was and how the team was always on the ball and that it made the day run so perfect. Apart from you there was another person that stood out to us : Kenneth, from meeting us in reception right until the last time we saw him he was so helpful and would do anything he could to help us. He even took my bridesmaids shoes to put under the top table so they would be there waiting for her. Lastly the reception team on the wedding morning they was asking us if we needed anything in our rooms i.e. biscuits or tea and even checked all the rooms and said our guests could check in earlier which made all the guests very happy.
