An iconic meeting & conference venue in London

Found between Covent Garden and Holborn tube stations in the West End of London, De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms offers 37 exceptional event spaces and is one of London’s leading venues for conferences, meetings, training, exhibitions and product launches.

The centrepiece of the venue is The Grand Hall, a remarkable space with its beautiful ornate high ceilings, detailed wood-panelling and soaring chandeliers for up to 750 guests theatre-style, making it a popular choice for bookers looking for a large and impressive space in the capital.

The adjoining Balmoral Suite is a large open space and ideal for breakout sessions and drinks reception whilst across the hall; the Drawing Room features a circular bar along with an ornate ceiling and large windows looking out to London. Next door, the decorative theme continues in the Edinburgh Suite with its chandeliers and original features.

On the 2nd floor, the Cornwall Suite with its dramatic ceiling and feature lighting holds up to 300 guests theatre style whilst the adjoining Crown suite is flooded with original features including a domed ceiling for up to 120.

On the east side of the 3rd floor you’ll find a set of self-contained training suites whilst on the 4th, a suite of smaller meeting spaces offer a mix of modern and feature rooms with oak-panelling and Georgian finishes. An exclusive roof-top terrace and penthouse suite are found on the 5th and final floor of the venue, ideal for meetings and events with outdoor breakout drinks and receptions in the summer months.

Enhanced with 21st-century features, each space also offers intuitive, smart technology, superfast Wi-Fi with a maximum bandwidth of 1GB available throughout the venue, nutritious food for well-being, free flowing coffee and a conference host.

As for the actual event onsite, amazing effort by all staff, they were easy to find (sometimes very much not a thing in venues) and responded to any issues/requests very quickly and efficiently. I love that the unused wine during the drinks reception was handed out to the tables to enjoy during the dinner, and it truly felt like we were looked after!

Just want to say thank you for all your help leading up to this event and for the staff on the event itself. Adana and Katy were amazing as was everyone else, nothing was too much trouble and the event was a great success!

The whole evening was a huge success and your staff were amazing.  Special thanks for Abdul (I think that was his name) who was the Dining Manager, he was brilliant and so accommodating with our last minute timing changes and also to the bar manager, he was equally brilliant.  Everyone had a fantastic time and we would love to host another event with you ASAP.

The event went really well. Katy and Abdul were amazing. They were so efficient, reliable and flexible.  Also, a thank you to the head chef who put together a vegetarian meal with no onion or garlic at the last minute due to an error from my side.

We raised £24k for our charity and it is going towards building a school in Africa.

The event ran smoothly, and I want to express special gratitude to Sienna for her unwavering dedication to ensuring its success. She went above and beyond to maintain a professional atmosphere and cater to the needs of every delegate throughout the day. Sienna handled every request with a smile and warmth.

The evening went superbly well, due in no small part to the excellent staffing of the event. Many commented that the level of service was some of the best we have had. Particularly the waiting staff, but also the bar staff, were just so welcoming, engaging and professional.

I hope the letter from the King proves helpful in some way. It was nice that he name-checked the venue, which I don’t think has happened before. I actually have a copy of the covering letter sent by the Head of Royal Correspondence, but I think the King’s letter stands alone.
